Pros

Working at FPG was good in the beginning when they had an open-minded, modern take on the world and digital marketing. The digital team members were the ones who really ran the company and made it as successful as it is. They were awesome. The clients were great and the leadership from the digital team was phenomenal. If it were still run by the VP of Operations at the time, I would recommend this place more than anywhere. All four of them quit within a month of each other. That's all I'll say about that. Also, the leadership outside of the digital team does not consider this place a digital marketing agency. So if that's what you're looking for, I'd look elsewhere. Once the digital team left, it was terrible. It's quite an unfortunate thing to experience a lack of diversity and open-mindedness from your leadership. It really will mess with your mental health.

Cons

- The review titled "stay FAR, FAR away" is 10000% accurate - Doesn't have great benefits (they didn't provide health insurance options up until June of 2021 despite promising it for years) - Outdated culture/toxic behavior from leadership - The leadership team could do better with their treatment of younger employees (this goes for employees that work for the clientele). Major hierarchy in a negative way is present in the leadership team. - Lacks modern knowledge of digital marketing

Stay FAR, FAR, away

Pros

They talk a good game.

Cons

This is a newer, small and extremely dysfunctional company, starting right at the top with the owner. He's one of those fake Christians who is constantly telling everyone that his company was started because God told him to and that it is run on Christian principles. He's constantly trying to convert all of is employees in a very bullying sort of way, and they are terrified to say anything for fear of getting fired. But the kicker is that, contrary to his words, his actions are 180° from everything that Christ preached. He's mean, vindictive, extremely quickly tempered and hypocritical. For example, he'll yell at you as being "unprofessional" for being 1 minute late in the morning (literally) and then think nothing of being two hours late to meeting he's called - if he shows up at all (Never mind that you will typically work late several hours a week.) That type of stuff and worse happens every single day. This same disfunction flow down through his upper management team, who act just like him while at the same time complaining about his behaviour. This is a very unnecessarily stressful place to work where the "rules" change from minute to minute based on the whims of management and you never know when you're going to get yelled at for doing something that, just the day before, you were given permission to do or were asked to do. For example, I've gotten permission to take a personal day directly from the owner, and then been screamed at and threatened with termination when I didn't come to work that day. Just a crazy atmosphere run on fear. On top of all that, they don't honor their agreements, even when is in writing. The owner has been sued over such behaviour and lost big time, but does it again and again anyway. Even more than a few current clients refuse to work with the owner any longer, telling his management team that in order for them to remain clients, they are to have no contact with the owner whatsoever. They dislike him that much. How long they can stay in business like this is anybody's guess. Stay far away from these people. You'll be much happier for it in the long run.
