Pros

A paycheck, but reduced the entire workforce.

Cons

There are my opinions based on facts and experience working for FreeAlliance: FreeAlliance LLC, owned by Mona Kaur and affiliated with 22nd Technologies won the CASCOM G6 contract in 2018. They have cross employees that work for both companies allowing them to qualify as a small business, but seem to be the same company split with two names. They came in and bid the contract ultralow, then protested so they could get the contract since they were the lowest bidder. They then cut everyone’s salary drastically. May of the incumbents left. They replaced some of them with just warm bodies that didn’t have the skills. The few remaining incumbents where tasked with carrying the work load. FreeAlliance and 22nd Technologies did not fill half of the positions so they could collect on the vacant positions. The Gov had many documented complaints on them during their year stint and when the reup came up, they did not renew the contract. This company did not go gracefully…they protested 4 times, resulting in the Gov finally terminating the entire contract and the contractor work force. This left “all” the contractors out of work. They finally dropped the last protest after a month, but as a result, many families were left in the cold during this process. They treated the workers poorly. It appears they are just locust gaming the small business niche of government contracting, bidding super low, and then not fulfilling their requirements. A simple Google search will show they have done this in the past multiple times with the Government and you can see the lawsuits. Bottom line…If you see FreeAlliance LLC or 22nd Technologies…Run and don’t look back.

Pros

The government removed them from the support contract that I work on.

Cons

Mona Kaur is the owner of FreeAlliance LLC, but after the lacking performance of her company and several frivolous and baseless protests I doubt that she will be using the FreeAlliance's (FA) name again. 22nd Technologies was a sub on this contract and maintained the level of service that FA was setting. Pay attention to the owners name on companies bidding on gov. contracts. If you see hers, beware. ******* These are my opinions based on my experience with this company ******* When this company received the contract and took over they immediately reduced everyone's salaries. This caused quality of service to drop when most of the most experienced employees left. On top of that FA was in no rush to fill the vacant positions. The government did this to themselves with a support contract that paid out for all the positions whether they were filled or not. ????? Communication with FA was one-sided; when they needed something. After a year their contract was up for renew and the gov. denied continuing the contract. Unbelievably, FA was shocked that they lost the contract. They protested 4 times preventing the new company from coming on and taking over the contract. Finally the gov. terminated the entire contract resulting in all employees supporting the contract losing their jobs. The dispute continued for a month until the gov. was able to separate completely from FA. The greed and lack contract compliance that FA exhibited that year lead to chaos and eventually unemployment for its employees lives. The management for FA showed a complete disregard for its employees well being the entire time they held the gov. support contract.
