Pros

The employees are often extremely talented and highly motivated individuals that are great to get to know, before they get fired. If you work the photoshoots, you get to spend 12 hours that day with attractive models who flirt all day. The down side - after 12 hours with a model, you just want them to be quiet and pose.

Cons

This company historically lets people go annually as part of what the company likes to call "Corporate Restructuring", when the real reason is budget mismanagement. Extremely low morale among employees for several months following said "Corporate Restructuring" No severance packages given with your job loss. The President of the company is the very young son of Freshpairs CEO. From the moment you walk in the door, you can tell that this business is very much run by a boy whose father is offering him a chance to learn "business". While this is great for Matthew Butlein, it comes at the expense of eager and talented individuals who are interested in coveting a successful working experience. Any future employee needs to know that this job is short term - and his or her chance of longevity at the company is somewhere along the line of 5% - and I believe that to be a generous number. Hard work is not rewarded in a professional manner. Instead of given the grace to come in a little late or leave a little early after pulling 12 hour days as a necessity due to managements unrealistic and unprecedented deadlines, you are rewarded with a happy hour. Better to come in hungover at 9 than well rested at 10? It's not a good business decision. Most people would rather drink on their own time, instead of feeling social pressure to drink from their employer. There is no real HR structure in place. The HR manager is also the Operations Manager, also the Presidents personal assistant, and spends most of his time socializing while policing employees attendance. Not a good place to work if you are in IT, Design, Buying/Merchandising, Customer Service/Client Care as those are the departments with the least amount of proper leadership. Office has pest control issues. Poor ventilation - if you get sick in the winter at the office, you are likely to stay sick for the rest of the winter.

Pros

Interesting building, including homeless people, rodents, and building violations. Interesting product lines, models, and occasional social events.

Cons

Job security is a big question. Salary employee's starting time is enforced to the second - HR watches the door No expectation of "vacation" or end of day 9am -6pm+ are the standard working hours, your expectation is to be in the office earlier and stay later If you have a problem you're pretty much on your own to figure it out or fix it (computer, process, system, etc)
