Fun atmosphere, low pay, chaotic at times.
Pros
This is an awesome spot to build great friendships and community. Also a great place to learn new skills like bike and ski repair, gear repair and get into new outdoor sports. They also have pretty solid benefits, especially for a gear shop - PTO, Health insurance, and even maternity leave which is huge.
Cons
Pay is not a liveable wage in Bend, and is not competetive with other gear shops in town. Also gives laughably low raises. Pay for entry level workers goes up to attract new hires but for current employees you can expect a .50 raise per year (at most $1.00) regardless of increase in responsibilities or promotions. Very unstructured management that is chaotic at times. This place is great for building community but expect to scrape by.
