1. MacBook provided to all 2. Good employee engagement
Cons
1. Revenue generating and support teams are not treated at par and the divide is evident. 2. Any form of feedback shared with the Management is not taken positively. 3. Friends and acquaintances of the founders in the org are given preferential treatment at work. 4. Policies are not practiced uniformly and exceptions are considered only for some. Thus, bias exists. 5. Employees who aren't capable of full time employment are leading teams. Thus, a lot of the promotions are not merit based.* 6. Terminations are not handled how they should be and proper feedback is not provided while exiting - one may be asked to leave without proper reasoning. 7. The founders have no vision, mission for the organization (it's nowhere on the website too) which is a cause of concern for the future of the organisation and one's career. 8. Presence of bonds for roles that don't need any is prevalent. 9. Job descriptions hold no value after one joins. You can be made to do anything and everything under the sun, esp if you're a part of a support team. 10. Lack of growth path for the support teams. 11. Can go to any extent to generate content. *Even if one has been an exceptional performer in their career prior joining GeekyAnts, there is a good chance you might be declared as an underperformer here.

Visionless company

Lifetime experience of what companies to avoid
Cons
First of all I would like to thank GOD, this pain is OVER Let's start although I have written very few but many more exists: Late working hours but founders and friends leave office by early. Slave like feeling Policies are different for friends and general people. Less experienced seniors In CTC they show as if you would be getting heavenly salary but base pay is very low. Founders do same what an idol person would do keep on staring you, this gets uncomfortable and awkward. Bollywood chat show vibes more than a professional setup Copy paste No matter of your past achievements, they would turn all your hard work into soil, they play with your subconscious mind to make you consider yourself a failure by sidelining and threating.

If you are unsure of what to do in life, then you could join here. You'll get to know about many different tech stacks (not because the company is good or something, but because the crowd is very diverse and you'll learn by interacting with them).
Cons
Office politics here is above the roof.

Company is moving towards enterprise scale.

1. Extremely motivated founders. 2. Over a period of last 5 years, there has been technical and process improvements every single year. We went from 60-70 to 600 in 5 years. 3. We are internally working on amazing PaaS solution, which has potential to scale us from 10 to 10000 in next 1.5-3 years.
Cons
I don't think we have such cons which i have to highlight it publicly. No work place is prefect, but Geekyants is close to it, gives you ample opportunities if you want to grab it.

Pros
Decent culture Macbook Tech talks Some great seniors
Cons
Not a startup. It's a mid-level IT consultancy. Do not expect it to function like a startup. Lengthy Bench period :/ Bond in this age and era. (Do you think startups make you sign a bonds? ) Below par salary as well as a bad salary structure. You join as a clueless fresher or someone who is a ninja and ready to jump into development . It won't matter. Long working hours. (8 hours mentioned on policy is just a formality. tech lead will make you sit for 12 hours) Some seniors are incredible and very resourceful and some seniors are arrogant and will yell at you. If you are good in a certain domain or have a goal of growing in a particular role eg FrondEnd/Mobile development/Backend. It won't matter. You'll be thrown into something without taking your opinion on personal interests whether you like it or not. It is not what it used to be. There are big structural changes which are less friendly

All glitters are not gold
30 Dec 2022 - Senior Software Developer in Bangalore RuralRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
Company is glitters trying to be gold
Cons
Company advising to ignore noise around itself shows they donot care about why employees are getting affected. They believe in ignoring(sidelining) then self interogeting what went wrong. No one comes with personal grudge why would employees create noise meaninglessly.
