Pros

reliable paycheck, mediocre health benefits

Cons

Where to begin, the list is beyond extensive. The management trusts no one in the company, they compartmentalize information so each department doesn't know what is going on or what the broad goal of the company is. It's as if they have set up the Sales, Marketing, Design/Engineering and Service departments to not just compete with each other, but fail. The infighting between departments is staggering, there is no attempt to find cohesion and the heads of each department fight over who gets to have all of the answers.. Because of the management style nothing gets done, it takes a very large comity to make one simple change of a product and only a slightly smaller comity people to order anything, even if it's just printer paper or batteries. Company policy and company procedure change monthly without notice or the pertinent information being given to the teams it directly effects. Clear documentation is unheard of nor stored anywhere employees can find the information. The management have no problem swearing at employees making almost personal attacks during meetings and when things don't go the way they want them to and have no problem destroying expensive company property when having physical outbursts. Management is not held accountable for such verbal or physical outbursts. Management has a history of being clearly misogynistic and incredibly inappropriate. Management has an openly antagonistic relationship with employees who need IT assistance, even going so far as to intentionally locking down devices so that employees cannot do their jobs and telling employees who can barely do their jobs because of very poorly functioning technology that he doesn't care and won't replace any device until it completely breaks. Management could putting the company at a security risk by allowing such antiquated technology that hasn't been patched or upgraded to be utilized by the employees who are not tech people. When employees bring in their own technology to try and get their work done they are met with threats of losing their jobs. The company consistently forgets to pay rent at all of its facilities, including the production facility. So much so the owners of the building have had to threaten to increase the processing fees and threatened to end the lease prematurely. That is a very unpleasant conversation when you're an employee and the owners of a building show up to tell you the rent hasn't been paid on time so many times that year that you might be kicked out. It's not a confidence building experience. Then we have the grotesque problem that not a single employee is an enthusiast of the products they make. Not one. The employee purchase program is more expensive than the discount chain they sell the product through. As a matter of fact management has stated publicly that "people who ride scooters are stupid". At best there are one or two real cycling enthusiasts, no scooter enthusiasts and not a single employee from the bicycle industry or scooter industry. Management doesn't care that no one knows what industry standards are or how that effects production, their reputation or the customer. So when customers bring forward legitimate questions, concerns and suggestions about the products being sold, the management isn't able to have an intelligent conversation on the specifics because they simply aren't learned on the topic. To them the product is just a widget that they can claim is eco friendly. Yes means no, if you make a constructive suggestion that everyone is in agreement is a good idea they still won't implement that idea, even if it costs nothing. Management is fond of using racial slurs about associates and makes no effort to ensure female employees aren't harassed by male management. Management allows employees to ship boxes of women's lingerie to work and show it to other employees. The company spent the equivalent monetary value of FIVE Tesla Roadsters on a third party marketing company that produced zero sales results, then followed that up with spending the equivalent of two Tesla Model X's on a commercial that no one saw, it was released well after the due date and it missed the entire market it was aimed at. Management doesn't use their own products and knows absolutely nothing about two wheel culture. In short, I strongly urge you to look for employment elsewhere. No, seriously, this place is a lawsuit waiting to happen.

Pros

Funding by Mahindra Tractor means that you know that you will get paid. There are a handful of very nice people in the trenches trying to be friendly and do their jobs.

Cons

The source of all the corporate dysfunction is the leadership team itself. Executives (I'm not allowed to identify individuals according to the community guidelines) have allowed the following things to happen: * A senior representative to make misogynistic comments to a female executive at one of their largest corporate accounts. No action was taken. * A senior representative screamed profanities at a subordinate in the presence of senior leadership. No action was taken. * A junior team member reported a different set of threatening behavior by a senior team member to the leadership and HR. The junior member was reassigned to a role with less responsibility. I could go on, but this review would become a novelette of poor corporate behavior, and you would likely tire of the countless examples. At the core, the leadership is disrespectful of subordinates, and that poor attitude is gradually adopted all around them. Toxic workplace - stay away.

Indian company and losing money on products

Pros

The company is backed by Mahindra and has plenty of money to run operations and R&D. The product is cool and you can ride bikes. The health benefit is good and salary is average.

Cons

The company is majority composed of Indians with Indian culture, language and hangout by themselves. The company is losing money on each scooter sold and barely sells. They are burning cash at a high rate and not sustainable at a loss. The management team is all Indian and very brutal with demands and will disrespect everybody behind their back. Beware of the COO and CEO. They will micro manage and drop profanity all day. Everyday is a firefight of quality issues that is blamed on others. The company is filled with internal struggles that is under the iceberg. The ship is sinking and everyone is trying to throw water out. The scooter is designed, built, and barely tested by male Indian engineers. The product went through recalls and tons of band-aid fixes. Beware of the attractive bonus. You barely get it.
