This organization is dire need of a workers union, and I am a republican.
Pros
Wont be around for much longer, if we cant pay our bills. You will absolutely know what your wages will be for the next 3 years, as pay increases are non-existent. I have never worked somewhere where the proverbial carrot is so blatantly dangled in front of you. Do more work, get more money(see cons). Most management is absolutely wonderful and if you are lucky to be hired by one of those, Congratulations . If you have no need for a job, do not mind stagnant wages in a world that cost more to live in every day, are independently wealthy, do not mind an extremely stressful work environment, and have no issues with a huge lack of benefits from a company that boasts a 1.3bn revenue, then this company is awesome!
Cons
Lets be honest about this one, the company is great, from a new persons perspective. You get hired, you think awesome, I got a job. It may not be the job I wanted, but I can work my way up. After several months, you notice that things are not as they seem. 401k matches are laughable, hasn't been one in the time I have spent here. Wages are stagnant, and employees are grossly under compensated. Do more work, get paid more is a statement echoed from Nana himself, but reality is the company is struggling to pay taxes in the UK, hemorrhaging staff at alarming rates, and destroying beneficial vendor relationships to keep cash on hand for just a few more days. Brilliance is severely lacking here, and it shows with every strategic decision made within the last year. The management team in the new call center in Greenville, South Carolina is sure to hire their co-workers family as junior management, so its keeps costs down, and the management team honest in performance reviews. I mean, why would I lie about another managers spouse that reports to me, if my spouse reports to them? Supreme management has issues with communication. By issues, I am saying there is no communication from any management until its time to downsize your team, or you get to visit the chopping block.
