Pros

Good pay and good benefits

Cons

No culture - each department is working in silos having their own goals and priorities, no common ground even though we all share the same operation Too many middle management and supervisors - too much inconsistency with decision making and flow of information (Too many chefs in the kitchen) leading to frustration Bias treatment - no discipline for superintendents for bad operational decisions and behavior, regardless of the impact Smart solutions for long term betterment of the operation is not so common - often the focus will be on short term initiatives that die after a few weeks then brought back again every once and awhile

Pros

Health benefits, but that also helps the company justify their low salaries

Cons

Was a decent place to work when we were remote. After not having any issues working remotely, everyone was forced to be back in the office everyday. They do not care about making employees happy and the morale is disgusting. Long hours with no OT opportunities. Impossible to get promoted they just want to move everyone around into different departments and not compensate them. Deron (The CEO) left the company in February and I thought things would get better. Things got worse. They recently hired about 10 people, but they don’t want to compensate their current employees more. The union makes 4 times as much as most management employees and all they do is complain and take naps. The industry itself is an absolute disaster overall. STAY AWAY!
