Pros

Office is downtown near the train station which makes for an easier commute. Decent benefits plan for health and dental insurance.

Cons

I have not written a negative review about a past employer on this site before, only one mostly positive one, but here I felt an obligation to warn potential job seekers. Do NOT under any circumstances accept a job here. This CEO, Richard Penn, is the worst employer and one of the worst people I have ever dealt with in my life. There were about 42 employees there when I began, in my first 6 months I watched 9 leave. One was fired in the middle of a birthday party, another a week before Christmas. The CEO does things "by gut instinct" as he puts it, unfortunately that can have consequences for your employees when you're not organized. He hired one employee before doing a background check on him. A week later he had to let him go when it came back with some pretty serious issues. He made an offer to another person only to withdraw it that same day when he finally realized that person had zero applicable background for the position. Something several people there had been telling him for weeks. People forget things, it's normal, but when you're so arrogant you rarely will admit a mistake? That can be tough on your employees. You will be asked about projects and accounts that you had nothing to do with, when you can't answer about them you will be berated. When you explain these aren't your projects? You will be waved off and he will move on to something else. Think you've been micro-managed before? You haven't seen anything yet. There is a printout on the copy machine by the front door every morning detailing what time everyone swiped in the day before. On Fridays, especially before a holiday, he will walk up and down the aisles at 4:55 to make sure nobody leaves 5 minutes early. You will be berated in meetings like you are a 5 year old. When people come in to interview for other positions? He will tell you they're interviewing for your job. "It's a good way to motivate them." he told others. If you have a long commute in and would like to occasionally work from home? Forget it. "If I can be here, they can be here." It's a shame, because this company has some great younger talent, and the company really does have potential. But nothing is worth working for an abusive little man like this CEO.

Pros

Benefits and the work schedule.

Cons

The most demotivating work environment I have ever experienced. Don't even consider working here if you are looking for opportunity, growth, and a sense of teamwork.

Pros

The pros left that place years ago.

Cons

Awful management, CEO screams at his people and calls them names, micromanages people right out the door.
