Signed an offer letter for $18/hr when I got my paycheck It was a "daily rate" FedEx, with the exception of FedEx Express is contracted; meaning, its some third-party owner NOT FEDEX they pay you what they want. Usually, they can pay you by the day, the stop, or by the package or an hourly rate. The majority of Contractors do not have health benefits and the air does not work on most trucks. If you luck up with a good contractor you will have work. It's all about delivering the package! That means bring snacks, and plenty to drink.. and good luck finding a restroom!
