Pros

I would definitely recommend people to try applying at Gofive. I honestly think this place gives people a very rare kind of growth and experience that is hard to find anywhere else. Culture & Growth: People here naturally become more resilient, self-driven, adaptable, and develop very strong work ethics (almost workaholic energy, honestly). You’ll constantly face challenges, unfamiliar tasks, and situations that push you far outside your comfort zone. Many times, you’ll have to learn while doing, figure things out as you go, and grow through the pressure, but you’ll also have support from the people around you along the way. You’ll meet many kind, creative, talented, and passionate people here. And one of the most unique experiences is getting to work under a CEO who is incredibly passionate, caring, visionary, and also very perfectionistic. You don’t just learn about work here. You get exposed to his standards, vision, mindset, discipline, and philosophies in many aspects of life. It really shapes the way people think and grow. I think this place is especially suitable for people who are hungry to grow and can give all in that growth. If you can grind hard, adapt fast, take ownership, and genuinely want to improve yourself, this place will push you a lot and help you grow very fast. And if you do well, people will see it. Your effort, growth, and contributions will be recognized and rewarded awesomely. Benefits: Gofive has pretty good benefits for employees, especially in learning and development.

Cons

- Workloads and challenging projects can be too much to handle for some people. You need to effectively multitask and know how to manage and communicate your bandwidth. - Some projects require after-hours working, which can be challenging when it comes to manage/integrate your personal life/relationship. - Super fast-paced and high expectations with a short ramp-up period.

Pros

- Coworkers are friendly and helpful - The atmosphere is easygoing with humorous moments - Generous WFH policy

Cons

- Management likes to coerce employees into "team building" events - Culture is not for introverts or shy people - Very high workload and tight development cycle with little breathing room - No work-life balance (working late into the night and on weekends is common and often necessary in order to finish work in time) - The codebase is very messy and unstable due to the team being a revolving door of new hires and interns

The environment favors conformity over competence

Pros

some colleague could be nice

Cons

Extremely political environment — success depends more on office politics than actual performance. Shady workload expectations — vague phrases like “challenge yourself” are often used to justify unreasonable or poorly defined workloads. Weak leadership — the CEO and management lack a clear track record, proven results, or a solid professional background. No real transparency — negative feedback across multiple platforms tends to disappear, giving a misleadingly positive image. Unreliable reviews — many positive comments appear to come from internal staff and read more like management praise than honest employee feedback. Merit takes a back seat — visibility and alignment with management matter more than competence or results.
