Pros

- Lots of thought put into team connection and community - Low/no internal drama. - Focus on improving experiences for customers from all teams - You'll get your hands dirty and get to work on a lot of projects and workstreams that you might not at a larger company

Cons

- If you're manager, you'll have to be both a player (manage sales/leads/customers) and lead a team. It is near impossible to be successful in both without working 70+ hours a week - Lack of staff diversity and no focus on improving via hiring/promotion - Goals are lofty and usually impossible to hit which stunts internal promotions. - Pay is under market, especially for less senior roles - everything is a priority which means that nothing is a priority.

Pros

Within just a couple of days I knew I'd found somewhere incredible to work, and months later I'm still loving it. The leadership here is very invested in the success of the team, so they provide a wide degree of freedom and autonomy to individuals as well as any tools you could ask for in order to achieve success. The corporate organization is patterned after Netflix's "No Rules Rules", which advocates for empowering employees to be candid with feedback, make independent decisions and take risks, and overall help drive a fully-functioning tree rather than a pyramid-shaped organization. Goodshuffle definitely promotes a fun, lively atmosphere where people eat lunch and go out for drinks and coffee together entirely for fun. I can easily claim that I've rarely eaten lunch alone, and it's a heartwarming thing to be asked on a regular basis if I'd like to grab food or take a quick coffee break as someone wanders past my desk. The camaraderie truly makes this place special. As for technical ability, the team is razor-sharp - especially its co-founders - and everyone individually possesses a staggering level of drive that's monolithic in combination. The work is steady with no shortage of tasks, and the focus is on efficiency and output, rather than appearing busy and putting in long hours for the sake of appearances.

Cons

Working remote full-time as a member of the development team would be difficult. The company has an excellent in-office culture that it seeks to continue, so location options would be limited as you'd need to commute to the office headquarters at least a few times a week.

Pros

Good product that customers really like

Cons

This is a bad company - stay away. They set unrealistic goals and don't do any sales training. There are no regular meetings or trainings to help.
