Pros

Located in Guilin, China which is one of the most beautiful places in the world and seems to be a lot more organized than many other Chinese universities' foreign teacher programs. Classes are typically scheduled 2-3 days a week and with grading and lesson planning that may mean that you work anywhere from 4-5 days a week if you are on top of everything. The administration is typically understanding and students are respectful. Free apartments newly built (although small studios). Yearly flight reimbursements Local Chinese school called CLI offers one on one Mandarin classes The campus you live at is only about 15 minutes from downtown.

Cons

The salary is quite low for China and even a bit low for Guilin. Teaching is done at a separate campus which is a 45-minute commute away. Depending on your class schedule, you may be at the other campus from 8 am to 10 pm with a large break in between classes.

Pros

You have no one to respond to, no one looks at your work or if you're even doing any work at all.

Cons

The program is joke, completely disorganized. And no body knows what they're doing. If something needs to be done, it'll be a challenge and you'll be going through several people to get there. They only pay $900 a month.
