Pros

The loan officers that work for me. Outside of that nothing......I have never written a bad review so hate this but need to let people know.

Cons

Pay/Rates - LO’s that like doubling your business and making the same money you could anywhere else this is your place. They hold your bonus 4 months after you leave. Vibe/Culture - Owner cusses at everyone and don’t ask any questions or you will be fired. Sr. Management promises world and then once on board doesn’t give you any support. Extremely high pressured. Coldwell Banker Joint Venture - very easily put....no support.....hates mortgage....you will not get any support from them at all.....but they Will expect the LO and managers to pay for everything and give you no business. Horrible relationship...oh and if the Broker Manager or anybody one wants you to fire your staff (even though they produce and are great employees) you have to get rid of them......They are the real boss so get your wallet ready to be drained or they don’t like you. Christmas parties for the whole office, pay for breakfast for entire staff at monthly sales meetings in never ends and if you say no the management team tells their staff not to use you. POD Structure - Too many hands in the pot.....sounds good but works horribly.....LO is involved with the whole transaction. If you question this they fire you....no matter your production. Closing/Processing - Be ready to tell your clients and referral partners sorry....come up with a lot of excuses. Marketing - You pay for everything....Get used to the word NO b/c that is all you get......you have to fill out numerous forms for reimbursement for them to say 2 months later it didn’t qualify. Benefits - highest I have seen in industry. 401k match nothing. Recruiting - they claim you have a recruiter but still waiting....... Onboarding Process - lost 3 Top Producing LO’s b/c onboarding is so bad. You will pay for half your equipment....even a 2nd monitor. I could go on and on.......absolutely the worst place I have worked. Don’t believe any promise they make.

Pros

Very into technology, forward thinking. The team members care but are overworked and under appreciated.

Cons

Employees and managers have good ideas but upper management has little idea how to incorporate anything new correctly and very little follow through. They are so eager to say "we do ____" but they push it through with very little thought of how to actually do it, then leave it up to lower level employees to figure out how to do things for themselves. This causes high frustration levels and slower turn times. The one thing they do really well is lie to your face. We were promised regular reviews but there haven't been any since the company formed (& therefore no raises). I was asked to cover a position for a month or two then go back to my normal job, I agreed. After 4 months I inquired about returning to my old job and was told we would talk. After 6 months I was told we'll see. After 8 months I was told in 2-3 weeks. Now that time is up and I was told we'll revisit that next spring - nearly a year and a half after I was told 1-2 months... If you're not in sales, you're just a seat warmer. The CEO tells the sales team to let him know who they want fired and he'll do it. He's very open to the fact that he couldn't care less about the Ops teams unless they affect his bottom line. He has held conference calls just to tell Ops how bad they are and that they should get different jobs. He's fired good managers then told Ops it's their fault and they're next, if you don't like it quit. Those aren't direct quotes because he can't go more than 4 words without swearing. He has said that Ops teams should be working on loans 24/7 so sales can make more money, yet won't pay for OT.
