Pros

Will only fire you after giving one month of notice.

Cons

There’s constant attrition and frequent org changes under the name of "restructuring". The long-term plan appears to keep only Sales/Brokers internally, while moving Business, Technology, Operations, Leadership, and most support roles out to external servicing companies. Current teams are also being asked to work extended hours, normal time from 12 PM to 9 PM and late-night calls up to 11:30 PM. It feels like the goal is to gradually transition the business and reduce internal headcount to cut costs.

Pros

Flexibility, excellent work life balance, casual environment, easy to use PTO. Benefits: health, dental, STD/ACC, vision, 401k are excellent

Cons

Pay is much below the standard for the position, raises and bonuses are minimal and hardly reflect the effort that is required to maintain positive metrics/meet goals. Case managers' responsibility is at a max and we often feel overwhelmed by the workload and expectations of management. Case managers are often responsible for tasks outside of the important things that have an effect of the claim

Pros

Decent flexibility for hybrid model.

Cons

Strong push for AI to be used everywhere in the company, but there is no understanding of the consequences. Lip service for modernization while broken processes are simply ignored for unproven 'innovation' with technology. Discussions through the grapevine to significantly cut headcount. Poor workplace culture.
