The company seems to be led by an egotistical president that has been enabled by a board of directors that seem to be out of touch with the happenings of the company. There were no margins that would realistically allow the company to exist or grow without help from the parent company. There were no other opinions that were allowed within the organization, especially when it came to actual facts and data to back the opinion. Sexism outside of the warehouse was rampant and women were hired based on age and body type. Men were removed from places of power. It became a very hostile environment and negative stress was a daily norm. Decisions made will not allow the company to exist in a year and the company will be absorbed into the parent company.

I get to be a part of a company that emphasizes the use of natural materials and loose parts theory, as we create open-ended toys that unleash a child’s imagination through free, unstructured play. We also create beautifully built, functional furniture for the home and classroom. This is a great thing to be involved in! Plus, I get to work remotely! I'm love that I'm not micro-managed, and the management style has improved greatly in my 16 years with the company. I feel valued, and that is truly a key point. This company is open to employees working remotely, and we have a global diversity that helps keep things fresh. Cons
Changes happen at the speed of light, and somethings that creates unease and complications with customers; however, this ability to adjust has been an advantage in the current environment. Unclear direction at times.
