      Declining Organization

      Pros

      There are some great folks who work for the organization. Unfortunately the pesticide is ruining the crops at the moment.

      Cons

      HealthTexas champions those who don’t rock the boat. Management and the corporate structure operates very much like a fraternity or sorority. If you are in, you are golden and can do no wrong even if In fact you do everything wrong. Who you know is far more relevant than what you know in this organization. The result is that the company is on a downward spiral and is working hard to disprove the theory that the company is too big to fail.

      Horrible, Horrible Place to Work

      Pros

      Literally....none. Pay is not good, atmosphere is not good, nothing is good.

      Cons

      EVERYTHING. Management systematically 'comes after' people. When I worked there an AR rep got moved up to a team lead -- all she did was lead the company into the ground. 125 people quit due to her bullying in under 6 months.

      Pros

      Not many pros that I can think of, won't name the department I worked in but it was within their corporate office. The only pro I could think of was the receptionist was nice.

      Cons

      Terrible leadership with my department, not sure how current leader is still there. Was yelled at in front of peers for something minor and was kept in a state of fear for my entire time working there. Was afraid to ask for help because I was made to feel like a fool for asking. Was only told of the things I did wrong on my yearly review so I could have been doing something wrong for months without knowing it. The manager within the department had an inner circle where they gossiped about the other employees within the department who were not in the inner circle. Complete toxic environment was lied to multiple times on performance only to be yelled at later in front of everyone. I was very surprised that I wasn't given an exit interview to air out my grievances to hopefully help my experience not happen to anyone else.
