Too many to fit, unfair labor practices, intimidating type behavior, supervisors who shouldn't even work with people, engineers don't always make good bosses. New ways are causing higher turn over rate, not good for a dangerous plant dealing with chemicals and running high pressure systems. Consistent high quality trained people are being sent packing due to higher wages and pensions, now the company can afford to invest in new ventures by reducing salary,wages and benefits, this must be the new Michigan.

When I started at HSC, there was a great family presence there. When you did a great job, you were congratulated. Then there were the layoffs. A lot of good people were let go and a lot of bad people were kept. Then the family atmosphere disappeared. A lot of bad decisions were made by upper management and the production workers paid the price. Everything that promoted a great working environment was taken away. When I left, moral at the plant was non existent. If you weren't apart of the good boys club, moving up isn't in your cards.
