Pros
The limited reviews below are an accurate portrayal of life at hendrick Lexus. Simply stated there are the 5-10 'have's' who work there, and the rest of us are 'have nots' and 'never will be's'. The store has no autonomy and is managed off site on a spreadsheet. This might be a good way to review and manage a baseball team or race team, but it falls miserably short in the real business world. I would say there is potential and pieces in place, however the fact that management is so powerless they can't take time to know employees and learn their strengths and weakness will continue to create and encourage an undertone of mutiny.
Cons
Erase any sense of work life balance while working here. It is actually more stressful to mis a day of work because you never know what type of 'storm' you might be walking into the next day. The company 'Hendrick' preaches it's CORE values relentlessly. They are your typical 'develop people,promote from within,etc' core values from most all major corporations...I have seen very little effort by management to actually practice these values...unless of course you are one of the few 'chosen' ones. And only god knows how you can become one if them. Also, if you do get a one on one talk/ review with your manager (chances are you won't even though they are scheduled monthly) do NOT say anything. It WILL be used against you. And the reviews are documented on official 'write up' transcripts so they can manage you out at will.
