The staff of Sonographer’s are a nightmare. You will have to share a desk with someone else who works in the mornings and isn’t even an accountant. You will also have to share your computer with her. You will be expected to conduct all business on your personal phone at YOUR expense. They do NOT offer direct deposit. Which is beyond insane in 2021. You will be made to feel like you do not matter and like your position is a nuisance or an afterthought. It’s no secret accountants get treated badly by their employers generally speaking, but this was a whole new level. A controller, working 30 hours a week for a job that would take 50+ hours a week to be done properly, having to share her desk and office with someone who isn’t in the accounting department is completely insane. You will not be offered any benefits because they have this position rigged at 30 - 35 hours so they can just skate under having to offer PTO and benefits. This is a wildly successful business it is baffling how a controller could be treated so badly. Run and run fast, it is NOT worth it.
