Pros
I have worked for Highlands for over 6 years as a Senior Account Manager. Highlands took me in without much sales training and experience, and over the years I have learned so much. My managers were always there for me, providing me with sales training, selling skills, and support that you will not get anywhere else. They really showed how to become a professional high-end enterprise salesperson—and not just some “numbered employee” in a call center. Upper management was always available to help when I ran into a problem. They really provided the support and tools to be successful at my job. My teammates were all very supportive. When COVID hit India, Highlands was one of the first companies to go exclusively to WFH—and continue through today. They had everything ready for us in less than a week: laptops, dual monitors, desks, and comfy chairs to set up our home office. They were really supportive and concerned about me and my family’s welfare. Probably the best thing that Highlands provides is the ongoing online training (if you want it) to further your career. In fact, they kind of expect you to continue your training and improve your position within the company—as that is the type of employees that they try to hire. I think the training benefit they provide is seriously important—it helped me.
Cons
I am really proud of what I have been able to accomplish at Highlands—with both my career and the work I did. Someone can always find something to complain about with their job. But, overall, I feel that Highlands is a great place to work.
