Pros
-After several years of much needed change in the CEO position, we finally have the right person in charge...a person with a vision, who is respected by his employees, who (in just 6 weeks) has already gone out into the surrounding area to build/start relationships with other industry leaders, and most importantly, has partnered with and is working hand-in-hand with the owner in order to create a happy, healthy workplace while achieving the vision of creating a company that is a benefit to not only our community, but the world.
-A huge pro for me is the flexibility in time off and the ability to work from home. Whether its an extended vacation, or you just need a day to work in the comforts of home, management is more than happy to acquiesce your requests.
-The environment has changed somewhat, for the better in my opinion. We are more focused and all have rallied behind the new CEO's vision, something that was impossible before with the old regime. We still have a fun, relaxed (yet, go get 'em) environment that allows each employee to reach their full potential.
-Hardly a day goes by in which I don't learn or new skill or technique. A credit to the minds that the company has retained and the opportunities to attend conferences and/or webinars
-We're not too strict on dress code. Come to work each day in what you're comfortable, and if you're comfortable, you're happy...if you're happy, you work hard...if you work hard, you achieve goals...you achieve goals, everyone makes money
-Health insurance and dental/vision plans are premium. They are 100% covered by the company.
-I've been here for going on 4 years, and these last 2 months have been the most happy and confident I've felt about the company and the future for the company in my time here.
Cons
-The past has left its mark. And there's a long road to hoe to get to where we want to go. But our new leadership has the business acumen, industry knowledge, desire, and resources to lead us there.
