Toxic culture starting at the top with poor communication, favoritism, and no accountability, recognition based on favoritism over performance with hardworking staff ignored, key information withheld until too late, important events like resignations not communicated to supervisors, decision-making disconnected from reality causing Garden Centre losses and shrink, leadership quick to blame but slow to accept responsibility, suggestions dismissed or ignored creating a “keep your head down” culture, final pay not in full or on time in violation of BC Employment Standards.
