Pros

You run your own line of business... also have relation to the Xerox brand but other than that no real pros!

Cons

Where should I start... By FAR the most toxic environment I have ever worked for! No work life balance was encouraged, they would almost force you to work late hours and prepare for the week on weekends. Pay was practically 100% commission and the draw had to be paid back if they paid you over your less than minimum wage salary for the month. Also only paid on a monthly cycle and not bi-weekly. Upper management had no involvement, even though it was a small organization and they clearly only focused on $$. Management had relation to a technology/security company who thought they ran the entire office and would call individuals out for no apparent reason, treat employees with no respect and overall management was extremely rude. You are part of a dying industry and they are extremely late to try and get involved in other lines of business. The training process was sub-par, Xerox used to be known for their training program but sadly it seems as though this has gone downhill. An extremely fake office where everyone gossips about one and other, management talks about employees behind their back and no one every confronts each out about negative situations. There was limited internal training given to developing skills as most employees are entry level sales individuals and limited to no guidance was given to improve sales tactics. No career development options as there are only two main roles in the organization and management had a sexist point of views for who would be in a sales executive vs. client relations role. There are many other areas which are negative about this organization but I would overall suggest to not even apply to HubTGI as it was the worst organization I have ever worked for. Plus the turn over rate for this small organization is extremely high which shows how negative others have had with this company.

Pros

Xerox sales training, which you can get anywhere else.

Cons

9 hours is not considered enough of a commitment. Your colleagues will treat you with no respect. They will threaten you with violence if they feel you will "rat" on them cheating through the training. If you value your reputation, stay away.

Pros

Alot of learning and structure to help control sales cycle. If you want to get into sales, try going here for the experience and then getting a proper sales job. HUBTGI creates a fun and competitive environment. Outside sales allows you to interview during the day without having to take vacation or sick days.

Cons

You have to drive around putting 30,000+km per year on your car and paying for gas out of pocket. They push you to stay and work long hours while you barely make any money on any commission. It is a revolving door and people leave every 6 months, you will become the most senior in the office and will not recognize anyone. The people who stay are ones who cannot get a job anywhere else.
