Leadership was always interested in hearing everyone’s opinions and always ready to implement a new suggestions. People were always encouraged to learn new skills that were outside of their job description. You were never bound to any constricts - if you wanted to learn and do something new the opportunity was always there.
Cons
Lack of accountability when tasks fell through the cracks.
Hudson Creative is the perfect place to grow and learn. Every day was full of excitement from all team members. It is a small company that strives to make big impact on all client projects, and as stressful as it might sound you will always be backed up by the founder's experience, knowledge and willingness to set you up for success. HC is a big family - you will quickly see that.
Cons
Typical startup struggles: big goals and KPIs but not enough people to cover those needs.
What I really like about working with Hudson Creative, they support their employees while challenging them to grow. I have been challenged by my manager to do more, which I really like because they want you to grow and push you to your limits without criticizing you. Hudson Creative respects and trusts individuals in their company, and at the same time, Hudson Creative tries to meet their employees' financial goals and emotional and physical needs, which you seldom see in every company. The management style of the company is very different from the company that I ever went to; it is very modern compared to traditional management; they value your health first, they focus on results, they support your ways, and they are very open to suggestions and recommendations to improve the workplace rules and processes. The communication is always there, the transparency on what's going on with the company, like the financial status updates. Managers are always asking for feedback and, most of all, approachable leadership.
Cons
So far, as for me, I don't see any downsides to working at Hudson Creative because I'm always satisfied with them. I know that, at the end of the day, there's always a reason behind it. They have this action that prevents anything from happening, they always forecast that if they do this and, what will happen after.
