Pros

Amazing friendships, and pay structure .The people at Hunt club are some of the best friends I have and always mean well. Solid recruiting practice.

Cons

The CEO runs the company in a way that makes it very hard for personal growth. There’s a lot of top down directions and you rarely feel like there’s a focus on your career. Immediate profit always come first with management often coming in to do your job for you (sometimes over selling to customers and candidates in ways that border on unethical) instead of teaching you new things. People feel manipulated and get told the same things from leadership over and over like a cog in the machine instead of feeling like they are being invested in. If you want to be in good graces with management you are best to not ask any questions or challenge the approach. You won’t get fired, but your thoughts won’t matter as the entire team just works for the ceo more than the company. Increasing lack of diversity on the team, most of the management team are friends of the ceo and have very little accountability. Several very smart people have left the company recently for these reasons.

Toxic Culture and leadership

Pros

There are really smart, talented individual contributors who are the supporting foundation of the company. However, they are typically behind the scenes, very under appreciated, and unhappy with the direction of the company… but they exist.

Cons

This organization is a perfect example of a rampant toxic bro culture and those who enable it. Leadership lacks integrity, honesty, self awareness, and the most basic of skills required for their role. Incapable managers routinely scapegoat their team members and blame others for their own poor direction. Their sky high turnover rate isn’t a surprise when employees are treated as disposable and yet the CEO doesn't seem to notice problems within leadership. There is zero accountability for bad managers, who continue to prevent this company from any real growth and maturity as a company. The way this company operates is not sustainable, successful, or creating a good culture. Avoid this place at all costs.

Pros

-Woo you with good comp and possible commission. -IC workers are great. Leadership is another story.

Cons

I joined the company after being heavily persuaded, even turning down other opportunities to accept their offer. Just seven weeks later, they decided to let go of 10% of the staff. I underwent three weeks of training, during which my manager went on paternity leave. A week after his return, I was let go. While I don't hold my manager personally responsible, the CEO and founder's actions were disappointing. Initially, the CEO seemed approachable and open to discussions, but when it came time to make tough decisions, he lacked the courage to address me directly. This experience revealed how untrustworthy and insincere the leadership is. I anticipate this will be dismissed as "just another disgruntled employee's review," but the facts speak for themselves. I have been in recruiting longer than anyone currently at the company, excelling in every role I’ve held. Giving someone only seven weeks in a new position highlights the company's disorganization, lack of foresight, and disregard for its employees.
