Pros
-Good Compensation
Competitive base salary plus a good bonus for each project, expense for gas, tolls, good company profit sharing each year , 15 days off for old employees;
-Great Culture
The CEO president and VP are all open minded and supportive. You can get all supports and resources from them. If you want to grow, they can pay for any class (work related) you prefer to take, they paid for my PMP license fee. Colleges are also really nice and helping each others.
-Care about Employees
There are some funny actives each year, fishing trip, park BBQ, Holiday Party, Fun run, trail etc. The office is nice and newly renovated. Good office supplies and equipment.
-Opportunity to grow
If you can stay more than a year or 2 and learned the construction process, you will have a good opportunity to grow from project engineer to assistant PM to PM. But I've seen a lot of new employees just stay for 6 months and left because too rush to ask for a raise/ promotion. It's a perfect company for long term grow and work.
Cons
The training quality for new employees varies. Sometime you are lucky to work under a great supervisor and mentor who willing to coach you and help you grow as a team/ friend and family. But sometimes new employees luck of proper coaching.
