Pros

Full of passionate and truly talented individuals, a really inspirational workforce Felt extremely supported right from the start, both within my own team and across the wider agency Always felt trusted in my role, given the right level of autonomy and felt valued by management Culture promoted self-development in which training and learning was actively encouraged with opportunities for growth Teams worked collaboratively across the business A People team who went the extra mile to give you the best employee experience possible The agency genuinely cared about your health and wellbeing with lots of avenues of help and support available Fun and dynamic, lots of company events and initiatives and the parties were awesome! Management acknowledged there were areas to improve on as a business but were keen to address these to continually strive to be an even better place to work Excellent hybrid working opportunities and a great work-life balance, something which was very important to me given I was a part-time working parent with childcare responsibilities Great location and fantastic office facilities at Leeds Dock, with their very own cafe Pay and benefits really good for the size of company

Cons

Difficult to say as my experience was all positive. Yes, it’s a fast-paced environment, it can be busy and challenging but what marketing agency isn’t? Overall, it’s a great place to work and I loved being part of the journey (note – only left to pursue a change in direction within a different industry).

The MD is incredibly inexperienced and an incredibly poor marketeer. They change their mind on company strategy incredibly often, it's bizarre Pay on the low end of the scale They basically have one large client

Pros

- the people - clients for the CV. Do as long as you can to get the names on your CV, then go somewhere that cares about you. - nice office space

Cons

- undervalued staff - no work life balance. Working until 7pm is normal and CS team are regularly expected to work on jobs through the night then work the next day. - complete lack of care for staff as people rather than money makers - the board control pay rises and progression. This makes it increasingly frustrating as they don’t know who their employees are. False promises are often made - cliquey and can be nasty. Someone is always the office gossip and it can be extremely toxic.
