Pros

New office with nearby restaurants, that's about it...

Cons

Where to begin... First off, the three heads seem unqualified for their positions. Seems like they don't know how to organize the company or figure out things when something out of the normal happens. The company is running on the hard work of employees, that most of the time goes by unnoticed. In just a month, 3 people quit. There was a total of 5 people who left in just one year this year! I've overhead people say that the average span of a PM is 2 yrs before leaving and when a person has been there 6 yrs, that is "a long time" for someone to be in one place so expected that they want to leave (words said by the president). Quite a few people are having to do double jobs of a project manager and another type of "management role" like a vendor manager, client relations manager, training manager, technology manager, social media and production coordinator. It's practically impossible to do two full time jobs as one, no extra compensation offered for taking on more roles so not even worth wanting to move up in the company. You're practically left to figure it out on your own and when you're getting slammed with PM work there's no one that can help. You're stuck working overtime to finish all the projects. I see people say that it is diverse in culture, but it is not comfortable. You see clicks, especially in the Chinese group. There should be respect and professionalism, but you feel uncomfortable when you're the only one in a room that doesn't speak the same language and it seems like the people are talking about you or sometimes you feel excluded. The president again has commented and sent AN EMAIL saying that he sees no problem with people doing that. Work life balance is non existent. Open enrollment period feels like it's all year round but heads don't see it that way or don't notice. IT is a pain to contact and work is so sloppy. HR is remote and not in the office. Not really anyone there to talk to if you're having any problems. Payroll is handled by the president, there's no professional taking care of your pay AND benefits, so expect issues. There's no split between vacation and sick time. So if you're sick and need a day off, no more vacation.

I think it's pretty clear

Pros

Good benefits. Nice office and location. The ability to forge friendships (though frowned upon). And maybe company outings/meals I guess, although it doesn't make up for everything else.

Cons

(I would like to clarify 1 small thing. I think people are confusing the CEO and the President. It's the President who seems to only care about money and who thinks of the quick fixes instead of solving deeper issues. The CEO isn't without her faults but at least she works hard and isn't as fake.) I agree that someone IS for sure writing very fake and misleading reviews. Maybe management themselves or maybe employees they've conned into doing it. It's pretty obvious - the phrasing, the repeated ideas, the shaming of the "negative" review writers, and the timing. Within days of a "negative" review, a positive one is posted. Hm... I also agree with others about the numerous cons. Inhumane working hours, unpaid OT, sick and vacation time counted together as PTO, crystal clear favoritism, promotions not based on merit or seniority, invasive micromanaging, extreme paranoia/distrust on the part of management, their apathy/denial/cluelessness/feigned ignorance of the unhappiness of the employees.... I could go on and on. Again, obvious - unbelievably high turnover. In 2016 alone, I think more than a dozen people quit. Sometimes within days of each other! (Also, you don't find out about it until an email 1-2 days before they leave.) Another reason the cons are obvious: which reviews get marked as "helpful" the most? The nice ones or the "negative" (aka, frank) ones?

CEO Writing Reviews

Pros

Yes a new building with upgrades but same politics.

Cons

This is a forum to view employees current & previous opinions. It is not for the CEO & President to create a false "amazing review" based on their opinions. The negative opinions are true and from employees experiences. They are honest but the President has always had a hard time accepting others opinions if they are not in line with his. But the reality is, not everyone agrees with him. I was not fired, I chose to leave and it was the best decision.

We are sorry to hear that you are feeling frustrated. At the time this review was written, we did not have any employees who worked in our new office who had left the company. Since you listed yourself as a “former employee”, we do not understand how you would have had the opportunity to experience our new office space. We also have no reason to believe that anyone other than employees are writing reviews on this site. We appreciate your input regarding listening to our employees and will continue to have open dialogues with our existing staff regarding ways we can improve the company as a whole.
