Pros

None what so ever. Stay away.

Cons

This is, without exaggeration, one of the most delusional companies operating today. Stay as far away as possible. The CEO refers to himself as the GenAICEO, which is laughable considering there’s absolutely nothing remotely AI-driven about this organization. It’s a hollow buzzword used to mask how outdated and dysfunctional things really are. The irony? I regard Sam Altman—one of the actual founding fathers of the Gen AI revolution—as someone who has reshaped the future of tech. And yet he doesn’t go around calling himself a “GenAICEO.” That should tell you everything you need to know. Employees are forced to install invasive spyware on their machines that records everything—every keystroke, every mouse movement. The company culture is one of paranoia and control, not trust or innovation. The CEO’s business model is equally absurd: acquire companies, gut them completely, lay off 90–95% of the staff, and keep a skeleton crew around with no clear direction. What results is a disjointed, Frankenstein-like "product suite" made up of unrelated tools that serve no cohesive purpose. And if that wasn’t bad enough, they slap unexplained “fees” on your salary if you’re based anywhere outside the U.S.—fees that can effectively cut your pay in half. There's no transparency, no justification, just a brutal gut punch to your earnings. What’s even more absurd is the cult-like behavior he’s enforced at the top. He’s made the leadership team adopt cringe-worthy titles like GenAICFO or GenAICPO, as if adding “GenAI” to a title magically makes them innovative. Spoiler: it doesn’t. If you value your career, privacy, and sanity, steer clear. This place is a masterclass in how not to run a company.

Pros

- You really get you test your mettle in this fast paced organization that really feels like a startup. - You work with really the best folks in the industry and that directly helps you sharpen your own professional skills - As a technologist you will get exposed to cutting edge technologies across domains and functions. Its like a candy shop for technologist - Though at times things feel chaotic, too much change, always in flux - but if you if you thrive in solving problems, these become new opportunities. Managers appreciate creative and smart problem solving (than providing the perfect, labor intensive answer). - Compensation is commensurate with skill and contribution

Cons

Depending on the role you may have to accommodate Eastern US Hours, so if you are living east or far east, its may be challenging Contract employment may not be everyone's cup of tea.

Pros

- Work your own hours - Spend time with the family - Traffic avoidance - Payment on time - Increase in your own productivity - This is great for me and I've been here a month now

Cons

What I am telling here may be cons for some and pros for others. - Each and every minute will be tracked. So you cannot cheat the company by saying you worked for some hours and not work. On the other hand you can count your work for each minute and you don't have to work overtime. - If you plan to join here you need to know that 100% Remote work is different than the remote work you have experienced during lockdown. Be prepared for it. - Understand that you are not an employee here and will be working with the company as a contractor. There are pros and cons to this. - There are no paid holidays. On the other hand you may work from multiple destinations throughout the year and I've already planned the places I plan to work from.
