Pros

the legacy of fine design work that came from kyle cooper (prologue) main titles for SEVEN still draws in great design talent. there is cache to working there and while they are being eclipsed by places like elastic, who are doing more innovative design work, and places like troika and LK who are commanding the broadcast world, the big name director-roster commercial production companies and of course psyop and motion theory for CG-driven work, they still have a commanding presence in landscape. they have solid values in terms of respect for design and good work and aesthetics.

Cons

no strategic leadership. the decisions makers have all been there (both creative and production) for a decade at least. they aren't very current or aware of how the design business has shifted to more of an account/agency model. while they have tried to make moves into experiential and digital over the years and now, gaming, they don't really understand how to engage and push the business forward in a meaningful way. Their EPs are more just sort of middlemen than actual players in the day to day. the company is very top heavy.

Pros

Laid back compared to most companies in the industry.

Cons

Too top heavy - all the money goes to top management and the rest are treated like they don't matter. Needs more mid-level talent.

Pros

They do great creative work, and they have a great reputation for it. Highly skilled directors and creatives.

Cons

Management has no clear goals set for the company, and they have different opinions. Lots of ego. Prepare to meet lots of resistance to whatever you want to do.
