Pros

Impraise is a young and ambitious company, that is solving challenges one step at a time. its grown substantially over the last few years and with that comes a number of opportunities for self development and improvement.

Cons

Having constant forward momentum can be difficult for employees to align to, and its important to have processes in place to help mitigate that. We have the vision in place, we just need to execute in every business area correctly. Thats a challenge every company goes through, and being aware of that is the first step to correcting it.

Pros

Working with such a diverse group of young, hardworking people was an incredible experience. The leaders are driven, flexible and really care about their employees. With a smaller team (rapidly growing though), each individual has the ability to take ownership their responsibilities and make a real impact. You also have the ability to take on multiple responsibilities and expand your horizons if you want to try different things. I was able to gain experience in multiple areas of the company during my 8 months at Impraise. The fast-paced environment was exciting, and it was really fun to see constant growth and progress in short periods of time. There was hardly ever a dull moment!

Cons

At times, the hours were long, but that's just part of the startup experience!

Great office environment with a really diverse and open-minded workforce Company is *attempting* to break into a very lucrative space within multiple industries

Cons

It starts at the top. Every member of the leadership team is clueless as far as product is concerned and communication from the top down is spotty at best. For a company so small, things seem awfully secretive a majority of the time. CEO takes his Series A (~$10.5m US) and immediately lets go of a significant number of employees in multiple departments within a couple of months, including the entire Lisbon engineering team. That should serve as a massive red flag to both the company's investors and anyone considering a position at Impraise. Customer churn is a huge problem. This is one of the most telling aspects of the company as a whole.
