Overworked, Micromanaged, and Poor Work-Life Balance
Pros
They offer a work-from-home option.
Cons
1) InOrg Global, VivaOps, V4C, and Vivacommerce all belong to the same founders. It is the same team that manages all companies. 2) There is no work-life balance. 3) During induction, they said they had flexible work hours, yet I have lots of meetings between 10 am and 6 pm on my Google calendar. They schedule meeting series at lunchtime. They don't care about your work-life balance. 4) You should attend all meetings and at the same time you are expected to complete your tasks and training on time. Otherwise there is a team to micromanage. They call themselves co-ordinators. They will keep on asking about the status. 5) If you cannot complete the training on the same day, they will ask you to finish it on weekends. Almost eight weeks have passed without a break for me. 6) The majority of their employees, 90% are freshers. The remaining 10% are only experienced folks. They put lots of pressure on all employees including engineers, architects, scrum masters, business analysts and directors. Freshers don't have any choice and they are very young so they can spend more than 16 hours per day. Even a couple of freshers left the company in 2 months itself. 7) I was active on Slack for 3 different workspaces (InOrg, VivaOps, Vivacommerce). The majority of the time, they will say that you are not active on Slack. 8) They used to call me during lunch time (1:30 pm) to my phone saying you were not active on Slack. During lunch time (1:30 pm), they used to call me saying you weren't on Slack. 9) They raised an issue about my absence from the 8:30 am standup calls. I explained that 8:30 am was too early for me since I typically start work at 10 am. Despite this, they refused to adjust the timing, which ultimately led me to leave the company after just 3 months. 10) You are required to have your camera on during online meetings, and if you don’t, they will immediately ask you to turn it on.
