Pros

- Incitement is not the regular company that you are used to seeing. They have a culture of work but also a culture of fun, freedom, personal and professional growth and unity. We go to dinners and parties together, we care about each other, we are a family. - Flexible hours, pool days and every Friday we work from home. - Incitement gives you the chance to continue your formation in your position in order to grow. For example, you can pick a book every month and have access to Lynda. - There is a really good relationship with all the colleagues. -Macbooks for everyone - There are meetings every week to follow up the performance and help with the problems that we can face. - When there is a birthday we celebrate together with activities, cakes, and gifts. - They give you the chance to be part of volunteer programs in the weekends. - We get paid earlier than the average. Around the last week of every month. -They make u feel like go to working doesn't have to be boring and painful.

Cons

- With all the new hires the office is getting smaller. - Wifi connection is not to good sometimes. - Sometimes It's a little difficult to focus because of the calls and meetings.

Thank you for your feedback! We're working on improving all the points as we speak. The Wifi unfortunately we can't fix :-( We've tried, and we'll keep trying, but Unifi is the only provider that has coverage in this area, and so we're kinda stuck unfortunately. On the bright side, this is only temporary. We'll move to a bigger, better office this year, at which point we'll immediately abandon Unifi and move to a provider who can provide fast, reliable internet. In order to address this 'focus' issue you mention, we've reduced the amount of meetings to 1 meeting per team every week, and all meetings will happen on the same day. So there's 4 days per week without meetings. Also on Friday you can work from home to boost your productivity, and on Thursday we work from the pool. Last but not least, we've implemented Silent Hour, so that every morning until lunch the office is quiet and peaceful, without any distractions. Hopefully these fixes will help reduce distractions :-)

Awesome Work Culture

Pros

Incitement has a pretty unique work culture, there's a balance of work and fun where everyone works hard and then party hard as a pat on the back. Incitement has flexible working hours, pool day takes place every Thursday (swimming is optional if you prefer to sit by the pool and do your work instead), and a work at home day. Days of paid leave is also quite flexible but as long as you get your work done. You get to work with people coming from different countries and cultural background whom are not only your colleagues but are your friends. Once you join the team, you become part of the Incitement family. They really care about your growth whether it's personal or professional, so everyone needs to come up with their own learning goals, how to achieve and utilise them, there's also a weekly progress/performance meeting just to check in on how everyone is doing. Incitement promotes learning and encourages it so they will sponsor one book a month for every individuals and any courses, seminars or workshops that will benefit your profession in any way. There are beanbags and everyone gets a Macbook (for work purposes). What I like the most about Incitement is that, there's no hierarchy, everyone just treats each other equally and with respect.

Cons

While the office is a great place to be at, the open space may be a little distracting at times when you need to fully concentrate on your work.

Pros

1- Incitement has an awesome culture, full of freedom, fun activities and work and life balance. Every Thursdays are Pool day, everyone can swim at the pool in the Office complex or work next to the pool. We have a lot of Games in the office. Once a week we have dinner all together. We also attend in several parties. 2- At Incitement everyone can work from home one to two days a week. Every Friday, everyone works from home. 3- Colleagues are very cool and friendly. 4- On everyone's birthday, The Cultural Director will buy a cake or gift and we celebrate it together. 5- Incitement provides learning materials for everyone in the team to grow. You can order any book you like once a month + you will have unlimited access to some of top learning websites like Lynda.com. 6- Everyone who does a great job in the company, will be appreciated by fun fund. 7- Everyone gets Macbook for work. 8- Incitement will send all staffs to an awesome trip together to a nice island once a year to retreat! 9- Incitement sponsors us for participating in seminars and conferences 10- Everyone get paid a few days before start of a month to not to have stress at the end of a month! 11- Every week company provides healthy snacks for the team to not to eat so many junk food at workplace! 12- The most important one: everything we do at Incitement is for good of society because it is a Social Enterprise. Projects are meaningful and all of them are about helping people. Like in 2015 we had two projects. one was helping flood affected people in Malaysia and another one was about lighting up underprivileged rural areas with solar power. I feel everything I did, could change someone's life. This gives me a very good satisfaction from my job.

Cons

1- Even there are several Senior staffs in the team, its still a young company so you won't have the chance to work with so many senior people and learn from them. 2- In tech team, you are always busy as always there are so many pending jobs in the queue. 3- There are several meetings and distractions in the workplace. These meetings have good purposes but They creates pause in your job. If you need full focus at your workplace then You may find it very difficult to concentrate easily.

Thanks for the review & feedback! More seniors are on the way for sure - it's been a matter of creating predictable and sustainable continuity in our business to generate enough resources to attract senior top talent. We're almost there, in fact, we're already in the process of interviewing several senior people to join the team. We definitely agree with you, we'll be bringing more seasoned people onto the team soon. For the meetings - we have reduced the amount of meetings to 1 team meeting per week, and 1 company-wide meeting per week. Meaning everybody will only have 2 meetings, all of which will happen on Tuesdays - and that's it. We don't want a meeting culture where we have meetings for the sake of having meetings, so thank you for pointing it out, we hope you like the fix for it :-) Bigger office is coming!
