Pros

You can refresh your English. The market in which the company operates is extraordinarily interesting. Clients are large, well-known companies - it's highly prestigious working with them.

Cons

Rule number one: as opposed to their communication during the interview process, the point of the performace-based bonus system is that eventually almost no one receives it. Ad-hoc ways of doing things, even where you would really need a controlled process (e.g. IT security). Senior management is using the word "agile" as a euphemism for "it's a chaos, but I don"t care". The best employees are extremely overloaded, which, of course, is not visibe in their compensation packages. It is very dangerous to treat long-term clients in an opportunistic way. Everyone is very aggressively pushing away responsibility. Huge information assimetry between mid and senior management.

Immature company with good opportunities

Pros

- great market opportunities - a good place to start as an intern/junior: opportunity to learn, getting important tasks from the beginning - some great employees and teams - career opportunities for management type people

Cons

- a lack of focus on quality!, a lack of product planning - the most important value is the speed of having a working version of products and the extra time invested - some great values theoretically, but they appear as a requirement for employees, not coming from the management via examples. E.g you are expected to be a proactive communicator, but many times you get no answers for weeks even for product-related questions. - senior skills and knowledge are not valued in many areas, e.g. development, design and product - an inability to say no: acceptation of micro-management and last-minute change requests from customers in most cases - the strategy is not visible for employees - overcomplicated hour tracking system with too much administrative duties

Pros

Young, talented and hard-working colleagues. Great opportunities to develop both your hard and soft skills. You can work with well-known multinational companies from the beginning of your career. Nice office and company events. Free lunch on every Friday.

Cons

The internal human resource management is ineffective, therefore the workload for most of the employees is unbalanced. Salary is not competitive, and there is no overtime pay. No space to share ideas. Lack of expertise in many areas. Lack of real innovation. Top-level managers rarely communicate with you. People are constantly leaving the company.
