Pros

Great job for alcoholics as owner does not care if you drink on the job as long as you do not harass your fellow employees

Cons

Fire people in mass firing and lie about how your commission will be calculated and payed out. Also lots of verbal abuse.

*UPDATED* InsideOut does not condone drinking on the job nor being under the influence of stimulants while at work as our company handbook and policies state. InsideOut has a strict HR policy and the company does not tolerate abuse (verbal or physical) of any kind. InsideOut conducts background checks and drug screening before any employee is onboarded. InsideOut sets realistic commission goals and have many professional employees achieving their sales commissions each month. Commission targets are set before the start of each month and given to each sales rep for review and signature to ensure they know what their sales targets are. The company meets weekly each Friday afternoon to go over employee progress against monthly sales targets. As far as the compensation package goes, we’ve done our research and our compensation structure is competitive for the industry, role and area. We regularly review competitor's pay in the St. Petersburg and Tampa market and we routinely offer above the average pay scale, all while InsideOut being a small privately owned company. When we factor in base pay, plus the commission, our benefits package (100% employer-paid health insurance program at zero cost to employees, insurance, 401(k) with match, generous PTO and employee profit sharing, we do have a VERY attractive and competitive package on offer. Of course, don’t take our word for it. You can certainly ask other companies what their comp and benefits are for similar roles. Pros

Nice coworkers. Benefits are decent. Casual dress code. If you have a well behaved dog...you can bring it to work. Nice office view.

Cons

CEO & CRO promote very young uneducated hipsters to management with zero experience. Nepotism and politics is rampant. Very poorly managed company that functions with smoke and mirrors and unethical practices. They have their inner circle of impressionable very young employees that believe that it’s the greatest job in the world who write the positive Glassdoor reviews. Very low pay. If you can live on making under $40k a year and like free unlimited junk food...than it could be the place for you.

We are sorry to hear your time at InsideOut was less than ideal. We are very open about how we do business – internally and externally – and where we have ever had issues with individuals not following those standards they are asked to leave the company. We also have a positive policy of promoting from within based on written skills assessments, performance reviews and multiple interviews, including panels. Unsuccessful candidates for a role are informed of why they were not chosen at that time and are given advice on what to focus on prior to future roles becoming available. Too many to list, build you up as you are going to move up in management but it never happens. Very political

We are not 100% sure of what you are referring to when you use the word ‘political’. If it is our process of internal promotion, then we have an open and rigorous assessment and interview process that we believe filters out the best candidates for a role at that time. Unsuccessful candidates are advised to focus on areas where they were relatively weaker and are given support to bridge those gaps as it will benefit both the individual and the team.
