Pros

There’s really not many pros.

Cons

The head of legal has no qualifications that would certify her as fit to hold her position. She herself has told me she hasn’t yet finished her law degree at university. Honestly, I believe this causes her to feel quite insecure at work and to have a slight inferiority complex compared to the other employees in the department. This is evident in her refusal to let anyone work autonomously; even the most mundane tasks must go through her first. This creates a terrible bottleneck—nothing gets done; it’s impossible. She insists on reviewing everything, even the most insignificant details. I feel like she always thinks people are out to get her because she’s very friendly with you, but if anyone speaks poorly about you, she won’t defend you or give you the benefit of the doubt; she’ll throw you to the wolves straight away. She’s a highly unpredictable person who seems to run the legal department like a schoolyard, creating cliques and fostering division among us. She’s extremely toxic, and being the head of the department, she makes the whole legal team toxic. I wouldn’t recommend this place even to my worst enemy. She has a hire-and-fire culture. I’m just glad I left, as it was starting to affect my mental health. Worst of all, management doesn’t seem to care; they have someone absolutely incompetent who’s bound to cause them trouble, yet they do nothing about it. With her at the helm, their international expansion is doomed to fail.

Pros

Can't think of any good things.

Cons

Horrible place to work. Most of them come from "call centre" environments. Can tell from the language and f language they use. Legal head is chavvy and has zero professionalism. Suffers from huge insecurities, she will not let anyone do their job. Has trust issues. No decent professional can survive that place for more than 9 months. Ask why the previous employees left and they give you false stories. I could write a whole 2 sided A4 about the cons but management wont change anything, this is just so people don't walk into this company thinking its all roses!
