      Impressive product but weak business strategy

      Pros

      Good product which is easy to work with. Great business value Flexible working arrangements

      Cons

      The COO is too afraid to commit on resources. The whole office is so lean that minor crisis causes major issues. Response time from Canberra is slow but yet the local staff cannot make their own decisions.

      Indeed it is a great challenge for a Software product to succeed in a global market. The good news is that Intelledox enjoys a growth rate of over 50% year on year. It is proudly and deliberately lean - it is a strategy that drives focus and outcomes. Not everyone has the constitution to operate in this environment - it's about 50:50 for those who can work in a lean innovation culture, and those who cannot, and prefer the structure and resources of a bigger company.

      Pros

      It is a company that is doing really well, and they mostly reinvest in the company. Everyone is helpful and the Managers are pretty good.

      Cons

      The staff work in the dingiest office ever, awful furniture, real low tech. Not what I expected from a progressive software developer. The owners need to spend less on their cars and more on making a comfortable working environment for their staff.

      At Intelledox we invest in our people. We have the best people in the world. And yes, it probably comes at the expense of a trendy office with a marble foyer. But that's not our style. Our clients are the ones who have the fancy offices. We do however have a great team culture, free parking, great coffee and all the latest technology. I really hope you are enjoying your new chair.
