Seriously Outdated

Pros

401k, convenient location near freeway and commerce.

Cons

Retention rates are extremely low, people get laid off with zero explanation which creates constant chaos for their teams. There is no structure, nor is there any sort of proper on-boarding to adequately train people. New employees are thrown to the wolves and then become scapegoats for upper management's constant mistakes. Upper management has absolutely no checks and balances and treat many employees poorly creating a stagnant work culture.

Stuck in the distant past

Pros

Friendly co-workers, 401k, easy atmosphere

Cons

Management continues business practices established in the 1970's, and is in denial that the Internet exists. Computers in the office may be brand new, but sales, creative, and ad tracking methodology are entirely obsolete, with no sign of updating. Executives are just clocking in until they can retire, initiative isn't welcome, and clients are justifiably looking elsewhere.

The Direct Response Leader? Hardly

Pros

Location, fine dining & shopping nearby, easy access off freeway, lunch break, pleasing office decor, free bagels on Thursday, weekends off

Cons

Disorganized and everything is poorly done at last minute, old fashioned thinking, salaried employees now must clock in and out for the day - as well as lunch, adults being treated like children, general lack of respect and zero gratitude
