      Wannabe "cool and dynamic" company

      Pros

      Excellent coffee machine, free beers and great balcony. Most colleagues super nice. Some weirdos.

      Cons

      (Western) top management pretends to be super cool, dynamic and going with the times but when it comes down to it, they're just as old school as any local company. Regularly comes up with new "brilliant" company directions which totally lack any depth and execution guidelines. Western managers all think they're superior. Fire staff and lock their computer at the same time - can't even delete personal files. Don't pay for the remaining days of that fired month. Very basic and oldschool IT system. Heard from ex colleagues they wouldn't even allow WFH for most staff during Covid outbreak.

      Pros

      If you like to obey opinions; come here and let the team leads you. If you are addicted to at least one coffee a day, this is the best place for you and the coffee is better than WeWork for sure. The company has been well-established with 20-years history and the brand is with its brand asset.

      Cons

      If you have your own ideas and want to drive performances in your way; here's not for you. If you're very proactive and creative thinker; here's not for you. If you care about integrity of the organization; here's not for you. (HK office)
