Pros
The building is lovely and has a great history and lots of promising resources and programs. Some of the staff members are a joy to work with, and the work is interesting and important .
Cons
Management does not support its employees, creating a culture of secrecy. Employees are not valued but are instead seen as expendable, and as a result, the organization has an approximately 40% annual turnover rate. Benefits are taken away without warning and policies frequently become more restrictive. It can be a stressful place to work.
