Toxic leadership and instability and a fake "Best Place to Work" badge!
Pros
there is not much that can be said about pros for working here except the fact that they pay at the higher tier compared to much of the competition and the benefits and good.
Cons
Toxic Executive Culture & Extreme Volatility: The company is run by an ego-driven leader (Inge, Pete & Chris) that treats employees with utter disrespect and disregard. "Management by crisis" is the standard operational mode. Every issue triggers an immediate blame game, and leadership is constantly scheming on ways to exit personnel rather than solving systemic problems. Decapitated Leadership & Unjust Turnover: Executive turnover is staggering and erratic. Within a short window, I witnessed the arbitrary termination of foundational senior leaders, including the Sr. VP, GMs, and the CFO - and in one egregious instance, an individual immediately following their return from paternity leave. There is zero psychological safety or legitimate justification for these actions. Broken Product & Illusion of Innovation: While the CEO talks a big game, the company is fundamentally unable to innovate. The core algorithms are severely broken, and the primary business "moat" relies entirely on the legacy blanks business. The 6-Month Expiration Date: Priorities and product roadmaps shift constantly, ensuring that nothing of meaningful value actually gets delivered. If you take a role here, treat it as a maximum 6-month stepping stone; you will be forced to operate in a chaotic environment with no long-term stability. Flawed AI Reliance: Strategy relies heavily on a desperate hope that AI will allow them to cut staff and run lean. This short-sighted approach completely ignores the impending explosion of AI operational costs and the inevitable reality of having to re-hire talent in a competitive market once this strategy fails.
