Pros

When I worked there, the Johnson County Public Library offered a good benefits package and ample vacation time. The salary was adequate.

Cons

My particular experience was not the best I've had. It may have just been a personality clash between me and my supervisor.

Fantastic Benefits as far as vacation, Personal TIme and Sick time, Great coworkers that work hard and are good people

Cons

HR is split up between being hired out to a semi-retired employee and a payroll worker with no academia or real world HR experience previous to being promoted. There's not much room for personal or professional growth. If you get a bad manager, you're stuck, HR will do nothing to help you out in settling disagreements or disputes..
