Pros

- Amazing Leadership - Remarkably transparent - Immense room for growth, simply because you are working with the top-notch people from all over the world - Fast paced: "Move fast and break things" - Remote work - Cultural diversity, one of the perks of working in a remote company - Self-motivated co-workers working towards the common goal of making Jumpcut - All the coworkers are so lovely, it almost feels like a family. Everyone trusts each other so much. - Free access to one of the best online business courses, even before the launch - Fair pay - Unlimited unpaid vacations

Cons

Since Jumpcut is a fast-growing startup, you need to be at the top of your game almost all the time. So, if you think that's tough for you, then probably Jumpcut isn't an ideal work-place for you.

Pros

Jumpcut is the best place I've worked and I've had 5 places I've worked at before starting at Jumpcut including Bain, which Glassdoor has named the Best Place to Work. Bain is fantastic, but Jumpcut for the right person is even better. I am lucky to be that type of person. People - I was so lucky to be surrounded by the people who work at Jumpcut. Everyone at Jumpcut strives to be the best in the world at what they do. I will never forget the outside work conversations I had with everyone from our head of marketing who wants to be the best ethical marketer of our generation to our production intern who wanted to be an award-winning editor. The team here don't just work to work, they work to be the best in the world and that energy drove me to push beyond my own limits every day to never let them down. Professional Development - My time at Jumpcut was one of the two biggest professional development periods in my life. If you told me before I joined Jumpcut that I within my first year alone at Jumpcut I would manage a 7-figure Facebook Ads account, lead a product launch that brought in over 7-figures in its first week, and help turn the company from burning money to making more money in the bank than we know what to do with, I wouldn't have believed you. At Jumpcut, if you want to grow, the opportunity is yours. Product - Everyone on the team cares about the product down to if a comma should be added to the closed captioning. Purpose - Changing how education is going to be by the end of our lives, what could be a better mission and purpose? Culture - If I had to summarize the culture of Jumpcut it would be the word "Trust" - there is no one looking over your shoulder, no one asking you to clock in your time, and no one asking why you are working from home/Hawaii/Japan today. There is a culture of trust that a JCer won't let another JCer down. This creates a unique culture where we get a lot done, but you don't have to sacrifice your own life. I formally left my full-time at Jumpcut for personal reasons but had those personal reasons not occurred I would have no reason why I wouldn't have continued with Jumpcut. I am going to continue to support the team in my new advisory/consultant role and am honored to do so.

Cons

Jumpcut is not for you if you are looking for a job where you can coast along, where you don't have to push yourself every day, and where you are consistently being challenged to grow.
