The Water Services Department is one of the biggest departments within the City of KCMO. The Water Department treats Water and Wastewater. Working in this department you learn a lot about the treatment of Water and Wastewater and management encourages employees to promote within the organization. In addition, the department encourages employees to gain certifications which position them for better promotional opportunities
Cons
The Water Department is a 24/7 operation. A majority of employees work in inclement weather which makes filling positions a little challenging for people who do not like to work outside.
