      Pros

      Unionized Plenty of work available to those who request it High turnover rate Opportunities for advancement Safety oriented. Show concern for their employee's safety

      Cons

      Extremely unorganized. Most managers and supervisors are part of a "boy's club" (clique-ish) Very heirarchal. Clear corruption amongst management. Advancement opportunities tended to be based on friends, not work performance. Training was very limited.

      Pros

      - safety, HR, some supervisors were very caring and understanding. -fun and enjoyable environment -Hiring process was easy and very organized -appreciation for hard working employees -lunch room area/locker/washrooms were all very well maintained and cleaned -will let you try different things or jobs to gain experience or a feel of what you enjoy -will help you as much as possible with getting personal help you need, give u chances to become better - didn’t feel as I was being constantly watched, could do my job to my best abilities without having someone telling me/watching - understanding for needing to take time off/sick days/family emergencies - great benefits package - enjoyed my time there -

      Cons

      -employees that are still there and don’t do their jobs, sit around on their phones all day , lazy , leave the yard/shop area in a mess because they can’t clean up after themselves -a lot of drama (all the men) - Certain foreman in the maintenance department are dumb as nails, Surprised dumb and dumber can even tie their shoes - employees thinking they know everything,the best thing to walk planet earth when they literally don’t do anything all day, some of the guys are arrogant, rude, unbearable. - will hire anyone to be haul truck operator, needs to give more time training/making sure they operate it safely - a lot of favoritism, more so in the operations side of it - don’t make friends at work, they get jealous because ur a better worker and feel threatened and will go to HR about your personal lives.
