I worked at KWI full-time for more than 4 years

    Pros

Easy to drive to. Good commute.

    Cons

The owner and management are unreasonable and abusive. High turnover. Everything is a mess. Only a few people who have been there for a really long time know how the technology works. The bathrooms are disgusting. The facility is old and dated. Not a positive work environment.

Why bother. ceo’s Buddies who own bluemercury have the same issues. Ignore turnover (see Glassdoor reviews). Top dogs are in denial, get paid, Notable among others in their industry, and are too lazy to focus on bottom line. Trumpism. of struggle or turnover., ignore it! Chief officer of people is a joke. I'm really sorry to read this review, and feel badly about your perception of our leadership. We are all working very hard to make KWI the best that it can be, and we do truly value our people, despite your experience. I'm not sure what to make of some of the comments that you made, ...

I have been working at KWI full-time

    Pros

There are some great people here at the company which really care and really try to help. However, they are far and few between and they are trying to find their way out of the company.

    Cons

My co-workers are constantly bullied by the CEO. As the subject matter expert in my field, I was told outright by him that I am clueless in my role. If you disagree with him, he will find a way to have your manager fire you. Massive turnover... When I come in to work, I never know who is not coming back- Even HR staff is disappearing. One of these days, my badge will no longer work.

    Advice to Management

Make working at KWI less painful- PLEASE!

You have a regular paycheck coming in.

    Cons

Everything. CEO is a liar and a bully. You know there is a problem if the management team constantly turns over. "Changes are coming, changes are coming" Nope........If you want employees to flourish then manage by example and not fear.

    Advice to Management

Come into the culture of 2018 and not bully employees like the 1950's.

Terrible management CEO is a bully lair Under staffing and under paid All sr. management changed 3 times in last 4 years

    Advice to Management

practice what you preach. The is not 2 way condor here, if you speak up and say want you feel you will be fired. The CEO is a bully who needs to let managers do what they were hired to do without being afraid to speak up.

I have been working at KWI full-time

    Pros

-Working for and learning from a true (successful) entrepreneur that provides very strong guidance & mentorship (personal & professional) for those who self-select to better themselves. -Technology that retailers need to run their business. Example: KWI’s suite of products are always a line item on the retailers budget thus making KWI very relevant in every conversation with retailers. -Complete overhaul...

    Cons

-Every business has issues, it’s how you process & react to them that sets the winners apart from the losers. KWI has a lot of moving parts and does a great job of isolating any issues - correcting them, learning from them & moving on. -A privately held company typically has the stigma of “tight resources” OK…you’re going to have to work a bit harder to make a business case for what you need. Advice to Management

Tough to offer advice to folks that have ran a solid company for 33 years, but: Continue to add high-caliber team members. Continue focus on creating a proactive vs. reactive environment. Keep cruising - this is a fun wave to be on.
