Pros

- Some nice people to work with - Coffee machine - Parking

Cons

- 0 Culture as it’s not endorsed by senior management, lack of work/life flexibility - can feel like everyone works miserably in silos for 5 days a week. - significant lack of respect + bullying from long-term, senior staff members; oftentimes can be berated by those in management positions (there is no HR, nothing will happen) loudly, in the open plan office - Greenwashing / performative practices - No role clarity, expected to wear many hats and absorb responsibilities without any recognition/benefits - management lacks trust in teams, quick to criticise/blame, incredibly slow to celebrate wins. Lack of empathy or general care for staff and morale - Zero strategic decisions, always reactive. Bottleneck of work/projects as all must go through Founder to approve everything (no accountability for failed decisions)

Pros

Lovely team in the UK who supported each other

Cons

- Office/warehouse location not very safe and also this was never acknowledged or any safety measures or advice put in place. - Reactive Founder/Owner - her way or the highway. Does not encourage new ideas and will easily shut down employees if she disagrees, rather than guiding her employees. - Culture of fear for the founder instilled across all departments, including senior leadership. - Made the majority of the team redundant during COVID-19 instead of putting them on furlough (then rehiring staff). - No career progression paths in place - Leadership team all seem to be mates, and do not care for the rest of the team. - Should not be a global company. - 'Sustainable' yet the product is often faulty so lots of plastic is still going to landfill. - HR has zero control of the leadership and some very subpar videos and emails sent to the company during COVID-19.
