Pros

You will learn how to operate under pressure very quickly. Some coworkers are genuinely supportive on an individual level, and the company does expose recruiters to a high volume environment that can sharpen sourcing, multitasking, and time management skills.

Cons

This was the most emotionally exhausting and politically toxic work environments I’ve ever experienced.

Pros

Nice office space with a good view

Cons

Absolutely horrendous working environment. This company is nearly entirely women run which they over pride themselves on. There are very few male leaders so if you are a guy looking to move up this is most likely not the company for you. They expect you to make phone calls all day and will reprimand you for things outside of your control. When you first start they really push for you to learn how to fill these rolls. I will say their teaching program was decent to get you an idea of what you will be doing. But when you start not getting results due to some of these unfillable rolls often due to candidates or things outside of your control, you will be reprimanded. They expect you to work when you go home at night after work to create lists to prepare for the next day, a practice that is actually illegal (call your labor board), for mind you literally the worst possible pay. My hiring class of about 15 people dwindled to about 5 people within 2 weeks. Some of the people there are extremely kind but take precautions knowing who to and not engage with. There is a lot of negative talk behind peoples backs, again not good for company culture. You should accept this job only if you are severely desparate.

Pros

Trauma bonded with coworkers Learn the basics of sales/recruiting

Cons

Everything Pay Management Culture The list goes on…. I saw multiple managers leave my coworkers in tears. Work is not ethical. Management has favorites, if you’re not one of them, you’ll be fired. You could work your butt off, and still be fired. Just avoid this company at all costs. Way better recruitment firms to get experience from that won’t leave you with ptsd.
