      A pattern of doing their best but falling short.

      Pros

      Kevala hires smart, passionate people. The team cares about doing a good job. The vision is interesting and the mission, while diluted, is admirable. Lot of interesting problems to solve.

      Cons

      Leadership doesn't really understand the idea of focus. Expectations and operating model demonstrably maligned with available resources and customer intent. Utter lack of transparency and financial stewardship.

      Great people and challenges while it lasted, poor leadership.

      Pros

      Awesome people who truly believed in company's mission. Remote first company. Challenging problems to solve.

      Cons

      Leadership during the furlough and layoffs lacked transparency and empathy. Despite actively hiring shortly before the layoffs, the company ultimately lost many of its most talented people afterwards. There was a noticeable lack of accountability from senior leadership during this time.

      The leadership team. Hard stop. * Lack of transparency in the health of the business * Lack of respect of employees who decide to move on * Lack of respect of current employees- zero support, zero empathy
